Almost any Mitski Song

Another entry in my song reflections series. I don’t like reading song reviews, or generally watching song explanation videos but I distinctly remember Mitski being quoted as saying that the lover she sings about in many of her songs is not any person, but rather “music, or a music career, or the ability to make music” (this article references another article where this quote happened, and I assume this is the sound clip it comes from).
